The Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC), the Commonwealth’s official history agency, is seeking Historic Site Administrators at several sites within the Bureau of Historic Sites and Museums. Museum & Historic Site Administrators are responsible for planning, budgeting, collections management, interpretive programming, marketing and development and supervision of employees. In order to be eligible for these positions, you must take the Pennsylvania Civil Service examination for Museum and Historic Site Administrator through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania State Civil Service Commission. Please note that the examination closes on December 31, 2011. Pennsylvania residency requirement has been waived for these positions.
