Personal Statement:
What I am looking for is a position that will challenge the skills I have and educate me. I enjoy working in the archives and the history that encompasses different organizations.

Education:
For my undergraduate degree, I attended the University of Missouri-Columbia where I received a BA in English Literature. I am a recent Dominican University graduate with an MLIS and an emphasis in Archives. Some of the classes I took were Archives and Administration, Collective Memory, and Advanced Archives and Administration.

Professional Experience:
In total, I have just over a year of experience in an Archive. My first internship was for 4 months at the Hellenic Museum Cultural Center. The second internship was at the American Medical Association for eight months.

I accessioned records, processed materials (DVDs, audio, manuscripts, photographs), created finding aids for two new record groups, and assisted in creating a photograph collection policy. I also had the opportunity to assist researchers with their reference questions.

Applicable Skills:
I have experience with the Microsoft Office suite, Surpass, and ReDiscovery.

I am a member of the American Library Association and the Society of American Archivists.
