Personal Statement:
I have experience in paper conservation and am looking to expand my portfolio to include paintings. I am planning to apply to art conservation programs with a focus on easel paintings and secondary interests in works of art on paper and mixed media.

My thesis work involves writing a guidebook for the University of Florida Smathers Library on how to handle a large, mixed collection they are receiving from a museum that is closing. Topics covered in the guidebook include accessioning, numbering, storage, handling, access, photographing, inventorying, condition reporting, exhibition, and conservation.
