CurCom Reception at AAM

The CurCom annual reception will be held at Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site in Philadelphia on April 30th from 6-8 pm. The Peniteniary was built in 1824 and was at that time the most expensive and high-tech prison in America. Eastern State Penitentiary quickly became a model for a radical new system of prisoner isolation. The site's award-winning tours are audio and self-guided. There will be food tables and a bar, plus jazz music. Up to 200 people can be accommodated at the site, and we would like to populate it with curators! The cost is $45. This event is listed as Event #5 in the AAM Annual Meeting preliminary program.
