Looking for an employer that values talent and intelligence more than incompetence and tenure. I am an experienced classroom educator who is published in historical and international circles with valued techmological, announcing, and film editing experience.

Professional Experience:
The National World War II Museum, October 29, 2007 to January 2009. National Outreach Coordinator. Responsibilities include: formulation of educational programming, national outreach evaluation and preparation, videoconferencing of lessons on particular facets of World War II, “Lunchbox Lecture” series, editing of video to use with National Outreach performances, devising presentations of educational materials, chairing sponsorship committees, curriculum composition, and conducting content resource teacher workshops.

Jefferson Parish Public School System, December 1999 to August 2007. Classroom Educator. Responsibilities included care, custody, and control of students, in addition to following the mandated curriculum for Social Studies teachers in and for the state of Louisiana; Social Studies Department Chair from 2006-2008. (Although actual certification did not occur until 2003, I taught several years while attending university to obtain that certification).
