Default Looking for Puppetry Exhibits

Does anyone know of any traveling puppetry exhibits? If not any directly related to puppets, how about the Muppets, Sesame Street or anything similar. We would need it for Feb - May 2009

Smile Thanks

Thanks Emily for the info! I think we're going to check out if they have anything we can borrow from them.

Smile Thanks for the additional lead

Thanks for the additional lead!!! I was unfamiliar with this museum. Their current exhibit looks really interesting and we're going to see what they may have for us to borrow!

Default Puppets are Sleepless in Seattle

Here is a museum in Seattle Washington that lends its puppets. Their local marionette opera sounds fun! I was going to recommend the puppet museum in Atlanta but someone already did

Smile Thanks to everyone who replied

I think we've figured out what we're going to do about the puppets!!! We're going to check on the leads and borrow some from local puppet enthusiasts. I'll be sure to update you on our progress!!!

The Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta is great.

Jim Henson studios have their own archives, they have kept many if not all of the various muppets and puppets they have made, I believe they are willing to lend, there were several in the exhibit on animatronics at the Academy of motion Picture Arts and Sciences in LA a few years ago.
