The Minnesota Digital Library has a live link to the guide you mentioned, and more. Standards & Best Practices : Digitizing & Metadata : MDL
We are just preparing to embark on planning for creating a digital image bank that will include images of artwork from our exhibits and our permanent collection, as well as historical, event and educational images. This started as a project to create a digital library of pieces from our permanent collection and is expanding rapidly...I imagine I am not alone in this sort of situation ![]() If anyone has real-life advice, cautionary tales or resources they recommend, I'd love to hear about it. Cheers, Tib |
