Default Museum Educator Career

Question: I am currently a senior at university, and am getting my undergrad in secondary ed/English, as well as my masters in Education. I have one more year left before I graduate. I am interested in becoming a museum educator. I currently volunteer at two art museums. After I graduate, I would like to try to find a paid internship in the field, and then go on to try to find a job. However, is my undergrad and masters degree enough to get me into the museum education field? Any advice or knowledge on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Right now you may need a solid museum background or a minor in history. Remember you would be competing against people with degrees in history and museum studies.
