Default Finding label-writing jobs

Hello all,

I've written descriptive labels for two major national museums and one small, regional museum. I kind of fell into all three jobs but discovered I love researching and writing labels; what's more I'm good at it.

I check regularly with my handful of contacts in the field, but none have had any leads in recent months.

Can anyone suggest ways to search for label-writing jobs, good sources, etc.?

Thanks

Zak

I'm in the same boat. Word of mouth seems to be the way to go, at least at the beginning. I recommend joining a variety of museum organizations and attend their annual meetings. Personally, I am going to start actively advertising my services in newsletters. Social media can also work wonders, too!

Best wishes!
