I'm curious to hear from some folks who have been enrolled in online or other distance learning masters-level museum studies (or similar field of study) programs - how was the quality of learning, the pace of study, etc. etc.? Did you feel you were getting a quality education for the cost of the program?
Any info would be very much appreciated! Thanks! Zack Baughman EAA AirVenture Museum Oshkosh, Wisconsin |

I'm currently enrolled in George Washington University's Museum Collections Management and Care graduate certificate program. I am enjoying the class and feel that I am learning a lot. Though it is not a traditional program, the professors are always available when there are questions.
I have an MA in Historical Administration from Eastern Illinois University that I took the traditional way. I wanted to take the GW course to expand my knowledge base, and am very happy that I decided to take the course. The online option is great since I am currently employed full-time. Good luck with whatever decision you make! |
