Default Any experience with online or distance learning Masters programs?

I'm curious to hear from some folks who have been enrolled in online or other distance learning masters-level museum studies (or similar field of study) programs - how was the quality of learning, the pace of study, etc. etc.? Did you feel you were getting a quality education for the cost of the program?

Any info would be very much appreciated! Thanks!

Thumbs up

I'm currently enrolled in George Washington University's Museum Collections Management and Care graduate certificate program. I am enjoying the class and feel that I am learning a lot. Though it is not a traditional program, the professors are always available when there are questions.

I have an MA in Historical Administration from Eastern Illinois University that I took the traditional way. I wanted to take the GW course to expand my knowledge base, and am very happy that I decided to take the course. The online option is great since I am currently employed full-time.

Good luck with whatever decision you make!
