Professional Experience:
I have been involved in museum work since childhood. Over the years I have had the opportunity to hold various positions throughout the museum field, giving me a vast understanding of how different departments operate/interact. I have experience in museum education, program development, visitor services, curatorial, exhibition design, etc. but have (over the past three years) focused my career on museum marketing with an emphasis on emerging and social media.

The Atlanta History Center is the Southeast's largest history museum.

Social Media Strategist:
Responsible for instituting, developing, growing, and maintaining the museum's presence on social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace, Youtube, etc. In one year's time, grew Facbook fanbase to over 1,000 members. Below are some examples of my work on social networking sites.

Graphic Design:
Designed and oversaw production of brochures, fliers, banners, exhibitions, and signs. Designed and submitted ads for publications such as the Atlanta Journal Constitution and Creative Loafing.

Video Production:
Created several videos promoting the museum, one which appears on CityPass.com, and another featured at the 2009 American Association of Museums Conference.

Photography:
Served as staff photographer. Created company photography request forms for employees to submit. Photographed weddings, events, corporate parties, socials, and exhibitions at the museum.
