Thumbs up Great for Small Museums

No matter what type of institution we work at, there is always the issue of keeping ourselves fresh and up to date. We strive to find new research, programs, or collections to keep ourselves exciting to the public. But what happens when the good ideas run out, or the old ones become tired? How do museums connect to old and new constituents? To other non-profits? To the past and to the future? What new connections has your institution made lately?

Join us at the Eastern Illinois University Historical Administration Program Association's 32nd Annual Symposium. Register by Febraury 27th, and the cost is only $55.00

Check out the brochure at:

Default Keeping the museum fresh and new

We at the Waldo (Florida) Historical Society don't have much of a museum, but what we do have is two huge windows that are right on the sidewalk and the main street through town. We keep those windows decorated with seasonal and holiday decorations so that at least passers-by know we're still there and still working.
