- I have been working in museums and historic sites for over 22 years. I have been the Director of Moundville Archaeological Park and Museum for 13 years where we have just completed a $5 million renovation and expansion of the park's museum following a capital campaign for this purpose. I was previously employed at the Atlanta History Center, Nebraska State Historical Society, Coastal Heritage Society (Savannah, Ga.), and the Georgia Southern University Museum. I have an MA in Museum Studies, MEd in Secondary Ed., and a BA in Anthropology and History. I am nearing completion of a PhD in Higher Ed. Administration and my dissertation explores how graduate museum studies programs are meeting the needs of the museum profession.
