    While completing my BA in History/Museum Studies, I have focused on US History- American West, with an emphasis in American Indian culture. I have numerous hours logged conducting primary research concerning powwow culture, Kiowa traditions, and currently working with the San Ildefonso puelbo potters who have continued to create traditional black-on-blackware pottery. I have completed an internship with the Oklahoma Historical Society Research Division and created a public database of a large oral history collection, Traditions 89. Other internships and volunteer work have been completed for the Kiowa tribe, and Red Earth Musuem. Currently I am employed by the University of Central Oklahoma as a Research Assistant for a professor and author. This experience has led to create and condut classroom lectures and primary research in the area of Oklahoma school houses/songs/games/clothing from the late 1800s for a children's book. In addition to primary research conducted at all of the archives in the Oklahoma City metro, Washington D.C. and New Mexico; I have participated as an Oral History Specialist for the University of Central Oklahoma. This has led to numerous oral history projects at Frank Lloyd Wrights historial Price Towers building, conducting interviews with previous tenants to restore the interior of the builiding.
