Auction house fires back at suit

A Dallas auction house says Garryowen owner Chris Kortlander, who is trying to sell the town and his collection of Custer artifacts, breached an agreement to auction the items.

Kortlander last week sued Heritage Auctions Inc. in federal court, alleging that the auction house breached a contract by failing to market or attempt to sell the properties as agreed and failing to return consigned items. [Full Story]
