Canada rejects Jordan's call to seize Dead Sea scrolls at Toronto museum

The Canadian government has turned down the Jordanian government's request to seize the Dead Sea scrolls, pictured, while they are on display at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto the CBC reported on Sunday. Jordan, Isreal and Palestine are arguing over ownership of the ancient religious scrolls that they all say are important to their heritage. Jordan had asked that Canada take custody of the scrolls while a rightful owner is determined. [Full Story]
