Professional Experience:
March 2005 - December 2008: Associate Director of Historic Landscapes, Plimoth Plantation, an outdoor living history museum in Plymouth MA
• Responsible for Horticulture and Grounds Department with annual budget of $164,000, and an Environmental History and Education grant budget from the EPA totaling $694,000
• Project Manager for construction of new ADA compliant pathway system from Visitor Center to Wampanoag Homesite and landscape restoration along its route
• Lead restoration of formal gardens and plantings from the 1920s era private estate on which Plimoth Plantation is built
• Developed greenhouse management plan and supervised propagation for growing annual and perennial plants used on site and sold at annual plant sale.


1996 - Present: Owner of Great Hill Horticultural Services, part time design and consulting business
• Prepared planting plans and specifications for gardens, commercial landscapes, and wetland restorations
• Served on the permitting team for a number of projects that successfully obtained permits from the Barnstable and Mashpee Conservation Commissions, the Sandwich Board of Appeals, the Old Kings Highway Historic Commission and The Cape Cod Commission

• Supervised grounds staff and outside contractors
• Established a 2-acre wildflower meadow in continuous bloom from May through September
• Participated in numerous projects for erosion control, beach nourishment and wildlife habitat enhancement
