Personal Statement:
As a collections manager, I have handled many important private art collections. I enjoy working closely with the collectors, museums and other institutions in photographing and documenting their art holdings. Currently, I am looking for contract work documenting a private or public art collection. I have a great deal of knowledge and experience with tribal art, however I am open to documenting and researching any art category.

Professional Experience:
I created Art Collection Services in 2006 in order to assist collectors in documenting their art collections and other assets.
I have worked with many notable private collections, that included European and American paintings, fine antique tribal art from Africa, the South Pacific, Asia and indigenous art from the Americas. I have also photographically documented a rare guitar collection and handled a great deal of contemporary Native American jewelry and pottery, including the photography and design of a private sales catalog.
Prior to 2006, I was the gallery manager for a notable tribal art gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

I have designed several Filemaker pro collections management databases.
I am proficient with MS Office (word, excel, power point), Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Filemaker Pro and many other software programs.

2001 – Independent Study of West Papua New Guinea barkcloth
Two months working directly with the local Lake Sentani artist & leader painting traditional & contemporary designs on handmade barkcloth

2002-2010 Independent research in Southeast Asia: Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos & Myanmar. Extensive field research in Myanmar working with local scholars, monks, and shaman recording their knowledge of the pre-Buddhist folklore & religious practices.

2007 New Zealand researching Pacific art museum collections.
