Question Becoming a Contract Registrar

This is a question for those of you who are contract registrars....

I'm thinking of becoming at least a part-time contract registrar, but am unsure how to go about it. I'm just wondering how those of you in the business advertised and made contacts with your clients. Also any problems you encountered along the way

Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Smile Additional Question

I would also like to know what type of insurance you need to carry to protect yourself when working with items owned by private collectors, etc.

THANKS!!!

I'm also interested in this line of work. In addition to the questions already posted interested, how do you decide an appropriate fee structure, and how does that type of income compare to working for someone else?

Any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
