Personal Statement:
Working in a small museum, the Store Manager seems to do it all - Create, run, and advertise events & artwork as well as all of the receptionist duties and retail details. I'm looking to expand my talents by broadening my horizons and moving to something bigger and better, with a chance to challenge myself and possibly move into other higher positions.

Alutiiq Museum June 2007 - Present
-Museum Store Manager. Manage the Museum’s store and its outreach to community artists. This includes stocking merchandise, managing consignment agreements, hosting events, marketing store and museum gallery events, designing ads/flyers, adding to the online store and processing all orders, finding donors/sponsors for activities, events, exhibits, and the newsletter, and bi-yearly inventory. Promoted to this position from Gallery Assistant in December, 2007.

-Head Week-end Bartender. Duties include opening and closing the register, supervising customer service, stocking merchandise, and cleaning.

-Art Instructor. Taught for the after school program KACLAC. The class that I was solely responsible for was a drawing and painting class, and I also collaborated with another teacher for a digital photography class.

-Art Department Assistant. Worked for Debra Beers making sets/ props for drawing, breaking down sets, hanging artwork for display, assisting with temporary gallery displays, and cleaning the drawing room.

I am completely familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), as well as the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
